So I've spent this last week relaxing and packing up all of my stuff. Its kinda weird moving out of a place I have called my home for 2 years. The one place that was a refuge and a resting place for me. Now my walls are stripped, my desk is bare, my clothes and books are all in boxes next to my door. I guess its not home anymore is it?
I have to say its a rather freeing experience knowing that I am done with school. All of my dreams and goals have reached an end...all my life I was preparing to go to college and to get into a good college. Then, it happend, and my goal was "get a well paying job," but I don't really know what my goals are anymore. All I know is I want to glorify the Lord in what I do. I have been freed from the 20 hour days that shifted between working in the lab and doing homework.
All of this is wonderful, but also hard. I have had to say good bye to some people that are really important to me. I'm watching one friend go to LA, another to San Diego, another to Florida, and still others to who knows where, and still others are just staying here in Davis. But its not really them that are leaving, its me thats leaving.
I can honestly say I will miss some people a lot more than they will miss me, but life goes on. I wish some turns in life had been different, but thats nothing that I can change.
I'm going to a country where I can't read the alphabet, can't speak the language, and I don't know its customs, sounds like fun right? :)
God is good, all the time.
Peace

Amazing, truly amazing. I'm so excited for you, part of the fun will be the hard moments, the moments when you see God in brand new ways. And can i get your home address again?

Come back and visit Davis a couple of times before you leave the country.
